Privacy policy

Who we are

Connect is operated by Process Link Pty Ltd, an Australian company. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and disclose personal information in line with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.

What we collect

We collect the details you give us when you:

• Place an order: your name, organisation, email, phone number, delivery and billing addresses, PO number and any notes.
• Send an enquiry: your name, organisation, email, phone number, and the details you provide about your devices and sites.
• Email or call us.

The order form can look up addresses with Google Maps. If you use the address search, what you type is sent to Google to suggest matching addresses. Google handles it under its own privacy policy. You can skip the search and type the address yourself.

This site does not use analytics or advertising cookies. It saves two display preferences in your browser (light or dark theme, and prices with or without GST). These stay on your device and are not sent to us.

To stop spam, our forms check a one-way hash of your IP address for a short time. We do not keep your IP address with your enquiry or order. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs for security and operation.

How we use it

• To respond to enquiries and prepare quotes.
• To process, deliver and invoice orders.
• To set up and support your SIMs and your account in the Connect portal.
• To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not send marketing emails without your consent.

Who we share it with

We share personal information only as needed to provide Connect, with:

• Couriers, to deliver your order.
• Our network supplier, where needed to activate and support your SIMs.
• Service providers that help us run the business, such as email delivery, website hosting, address lookup and accounting.
• Anyone we are required to share it with by law.

Some of these providers, including our email delivery, website hosting and address lookup services, may store or process information outside Australia, including in the United States.

Storage and security

We take reasonable steps to protect personal information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access. We keep it for as long as we need it for the purposes above, or as the law requires, and then delete or de-identify it.

Access and correction

You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it, by contacting us using the details below.

Complaints

If you have a concern about how we have handled your personal information, contact us first and we will respond within 30 days. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au or on 1300 363 992.
